Gita began her career as a massage practitioner in 2019 after completing her education in her home country of Latvia. She further expanded her professional experience through international exchange programs in Estonia and Portugal, where she deepened her knowledge of massage therapy and hands-on techniques.

With a background as a passionate athlete in her teenage years, Gita has maintained an active lifestyle and a strong understanding of the physical demands placed on the body.

From the start of her practice, Gita discovered that her greatest professional fulfillment comes from helping clients reduce pain, release muscular tension, and achieve a deeper sense of relaxation—both physically and mentally. She believes that self-care is often overlooked in today’s fast-paced world and takes pride in supporting her clients’ well- being.

Gita tailors each treatment to the individual needs of her clients, incorporating a range of techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and aromatherapy massage.

Outside of the clinic, Gita enjoys spending time in nature, often with a hot cup of coffee.

Kayla is the co-owner of ‘Wise Wellness’ and is a graduate of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (2016) with the designation of R.H.N. Natural nutrition is a holistic approach to health that uses evidence-based techniques for diet, lifestyle and supplementation. Instead of focusing on just one aspect of the person, or taking a one size fits all methodology, natural nutrition evaluates the complete health history, emotional state, lifestyle habits and current diet habits of an individual to determine the root cause of his or her health issues. Kayla found her place in the world of health and wellness because of her own health history, living with three autoimmune conditions: psoriasis, celiac disease, and ulcerative colitis. After a lifetime of symptoms and prescription medications, which masked her symptoms temporarily, but never addressed the underlying cause, she found health once again through functional nutrition.

Kayla’s education and lived experiences have given her a profound understanding of how vitally important proper nutrition and lifestyle are to achieving optimum health. These are just a few of the common concerns she addresses in her practice:

Nutritional imbalances Hormone imbalances Blood sugar imbalances Stress and Sleep issues Fertility and conception planning Prenatal nutrition optimization Postpartum depletion Digestive health Concussion recovery Cancer prevention Cancer post treatment recovery Kayla’s goal is to empower and educate her clients into improving their health with the use of nutrient dense foods, natural supplementation and lifestyle recommendations.

No matter where you are on your nutritional and wellness journey, it can be transformative to partner with someone with the expertise to guide you, provide support, and help you meet your goals - even if your goals are simply to eat well and feel good. Kayla can teach you how to take control of your health and inspired you to live your best life.
